Celebrating over 50 years in the 3rd generation Leng building

Our FoundersElizabeth and JoeIn the spring of 1961, Irene and Loren Leng traveled to European trade shows looking for unique items for their new venture - The Market of Grand Marais. George Leng, Loren's father and owner of the Leng building, had the perfect space for the new business. Irene and Loren enjoyed being the core of The Market for 40 years. Irene and Loren's daughter, Elizabeth, and Joe Schroeder have continued the tradition walking trade shows searching for the unique and unusual. The journey continues.
